Is the devil a murderer? Or the one who defends the murderer?

Is the devil the liar? Or the one who covers up the lies?

Is the devil the predator? Or the institution that turns a blind eye to the predator?

Is the devil the preacher who uses the pulpit to spread hate? Or the congregation who believes the preacher?

Is the devil the thief? Or the one who profits from the thief?

Is the devil the bigot? Or the one who ignores the bigot?

Is the devil the bully? Or the one who remains silent during the bullying?

Is the devil the accused? Or the one who accuses?

Is the devil the cheater? Or the one who accepts the cheating?

Is the devil in the words? Or the one who reads the words?

Is the devil the “bad guy”? Or is the devil in all of us? And if this is so, how do we conquer him?
